The Gig Harbor Dragon Boat Team paddles year long in preparation for our race season, April through September. In a dragon boat, 20 paddlers work as a team to synchronize power and finesse strokes to build toward race readiness.
LynnFit is a 60 minute low impact cardio workout with a fusion of easy dance moves, marching/walking patterns, and a little kickboxing – all to a fun array of music! Strength training and stretching will follow with a Pilates style core workout.
A gentle exercise with Tai Chi principles. The form is designed specifically for joint mobility and improved balance for the beginner in Tai Chi. These gentle exercises help to improve Arthritis and Balance and are a great way to begin your Tai Chi journey.
Want to learn how to dance? Come join us and learn the beginner basics of various ballroom dances. Such dances are included but not limited to Rumba, Merengue. Salsa, Swing, Tango, Waltz, and Foxtrot. No partner needed!
Through guided exercises and hands-on practice, we will learn about color mixing, value, glazing, washes and more.
